get dressed - week 18
documenting real life outfits of what i'm wearing daily to wfh
welcome to my series, get dressed. a vow i made to myself to actually put on real clothes and not wear leggings to wfh.
earlier this week i shared my color analysis takeaways, and it seems to have really resonated. i think we are all ready for a brighter, more colorful season of dressing. for me, it is so much easier to brighten my wardrobe in the spring and summer. you’ll see more color woven into my week, and it always makes me feel happier and brighter when i’m dressing with some pep in my step and pops of color.
and with that, here’s what i actually wore this week:
monday:
shop the full outfit here.
orange printed pull-on pants (i have these pants in 3 prints now, they are the best and 20% off until midnight!) + a zodiac graphic tee + barn jacket. a small bamboo handle bag and raffia espadrilles.
tuesday:
shop the full outfit here.
a blue and white striped button down, the striped sweater (it’s 40% off now!!) on the shoulders again, my fav white denim, and raffia espadrille loafers. a very on-brand outfit for me, and if you know me i always have a lime & ginger nixie in hand. matches the color story, too.
wednesday:
shop the full outfit here.
a hot pink cardigan over a leopard graphic tee, my favorite barrel leg jeans, and the blue striped raffia ballet flats i’m constantly wearing.
thursday:
shop the full outfit here.
soft pink pull-on pants (the ones i finally caved on the other week, so glad i did!) + a blue button down + a blue and white striped cardigan over the shoulders. nude raffia flats and a woven raffia bag.
saturday:
shop the full outfit here.
blue gingham pull-on pants, my go-to blue button down, the same striped sweater tied over the shoulders (that’s now 40% off!), and a lime bag to tie it all together. blue striped raffia ballet flats i can't stop wearing.
a closer look at the details of my pants, flats and pop of lime raffia bag. pattern mixing, color blocking, i can’t get enough.
sunday:
shop the full outfit here.
i couldn’t miss the opportunity to wear head to toe pink. hopefully the last time i can wear this cashmere sweater for the season, but just the beginning for these pull on pants. finished with raffia espadrilles and a colorful bag (not pictured).
not to influence you, but…here’s what caught my eye this week:
going to see what all of the hype is about with these pants. definitely fell for the new chartreuse color!
i’m not usually a shorts girl, but these pink ones might have convinced me otherwise.
love these little fish earrings. i’m a sucker for anything with turquoise when it comes to jewelry.
this patchwork jacket in blue and white looks like it would be the perfect spring layer.
obsessed with my new pink pull on pants. love the color and they are so comfortable!
these are the colors i’m leaning into this spring
cool blues:

no surprises here. blue has always been my color, and now i have a list of specific shades that work best on me. soft chambray, crisp poplin, gingham, stripes — all of it.
slice of lime:

the unexpected one. lime somehow goes with everything — blues, pinks, neutrals, denim. i've been adding it in through accessories mostly, but it's starting to creep into actual pieces too.
pretty in pink:

we all seem to be loving pink this spring, from baby pink to shocking pink i can’t get enough.
leaning into color has genuinely made getting dressed easier, not harder. when you know what shades work on you, the closet decisions get so much simpler. if you've been on the fence about doing your own color analysis, this is your sign.
what’s your favorite look this week? tell me in the comments!

if this resonated, tap the heart. it helps more than you know.💕
